amidst red dot design museum's winning awards and the plushie was used as a lead-in to draw people into the exhibition area.



a big thank you to all 5 buyers who showered us with their love and support.

we would also like to take this chance to thank MAAD for their wonderful premise and i know MAAD will definitely want more designers/artists to come forward and showcase their works. that's where YOU come in! :) do consider. boldly we went forth and amazing results we got :) it was a sell-out!

THEME SATURDAY: DRAWING TOOLS - DREWSCAPE

What i use for drawing:
1. Calligraphy pen (thick & thin nib). Very useful for adding characeter to lines for visuals + storyboards.
2. Arabic calligraphy pen (slanted nib). Also good for visuals.
3. Liquid paper. For adding highlights and covering mistakes for visuals.
4. Hero model 86 bent nip fountain pen. Very smooth. (The ink that comes with this pen is good. Very black. Chairman recommended. Hail chairman!)
5. Zig Clean color pens. Add water and it spreads very nicely. Shld try mixing with a couple colours. eg. red and black.
6. Pencil.
7. Japanese brush.
8. Intuos 2 wacom.
9. Good food.

(Most) Everything I need, I can find in a 0.5 mechanical with 2B lead

- you want sharp, break the lead tip
- you want dark, "colour" hard
- you want soft, "colour" hard on spare paper till tip becomes blunt, then use
- you want interesting, try it with your other hand :p

And a handy mechanical eraser to hide evidence that you're not as ingenius as people think you are.

Cheat: Keep a tissue paper nearby to rub still life drawings so they look softer and not like they were done with a mechanical pencil.

i use the title "becos i love you."
cos u can run away from any tricky situation
from your loved ones with this line.
"why did you forget my bdae?"
