Brilliant idea! Thanks again mike! Perhaps you could briefly describe what is "unsuitable"? :D

Hello zeropointfive!(and fellow OIC-ers)

Thanks for the prompt reply!
Art pieces which are deem"unsuitable", are ones that deal a bit tad close to religion and explicit contents. By "explicit" meaning even though we artist has got "higher threshold" than normal people (haha), we need to consider its aesthetic and moral boundaries.

Because all the prints will be of exclusive circulation, printed with Giclée ink on museum archival paper stock, so preferably we would love to set a certain degree for standard.

Will the artist get to determine the price? How will we be paid? And will we use paypal?

Hi Drew-
1. We have to set a standard agreeable price to avoid confusion.
2. Most likely PayPal

so no religious-theme art at all?

Preferably not becos once we start its going to get ugly and factional. I ll rather if you go a step higher and promote something more universal instead of something only peculiar to a certain creed or belief.
If you are interested- maybe we can give you some pointers on how you can sell religious themed art on your site once we get the OIC system going :) HTH

I can see where your point is coming from, especially since it's somewhat a starting trial period. But hopefully, we can eventually cross over to attempt more taboo borders since there shouldn't be a limitation to creative expression - that is, art that expresses a strong opinion and not art that forcefeeds a personal belief :)

For now, i agree we hold back the controversial content and see how this goes first. Very exciting-sounding :)

ok, Mike, that makes sense. I'm interested. What is the timeline we are looking at?

Hi Dom- we hope to start this in January if all goes well. What we are doing now is getting quotes from suppliers and sorting out the details.

This thread is to gauge how many artists are keen to sell through OIC.
Thanks for the support :)
