This is some concept artwork for a new game my company is developing. It's a puzzle game that involves voodoo toys made by a 13 year old girl, Ingrid (She's like that girl in the Addam's family), that live in a mad cap toyworld.
i wonder why the cat has stitches down there. they all look like theyve had too much sugar. Well done! however i feel that the characters cld have an added layer of surprise to make them even better. The floating city is great. draw draw draw..20mins a day..
Oh, no special way to colour. Characters were coloured in Photoshop using the brush tool set to airbrush mode. Strength on airbrush between 1% to 10% and slowly layering the colours and shades. The brush I prefer to use is a hard tip type, not so much blending to give a more painted look. Was thinking of experimenting with illustrator but lazy. :P
