This year's theme is "Butterflies". As usual, there is a layer of gold hotstamping in certain areas of the illustration.The typeface for the main title was rejected and replaced with a more conventional one, but i prefer this typeface, feels more appropriate to me. Cheers!

this is some sick stuff dude, amazing how detailed those motifs are, stays true to the peranakan spirit.
but I think the metallic texture on the frame is kinda.. off..? maybe if it was more of a wood grain, more peranakan?
I like the details. But it doesn't have a central focus. I think perhaps the title portion needs more contrast with the background. And if you gave it a white background in the center part, the words would be more noticeable.
I like the design and the overall feel of it! only issue i have is the metallic feel for the frame too ,like what bella said.. in terms of style wise. does not sit so well with the more "flat color" feel which works well for me
