A short Dune comic by Paul Pope

It's interesting to see how an artist like Paul Pope, with his own unique style, does a comic page on a tiny portion of the Dune series. It gives a nice fresh perspective to this old story. Hope it inspires you.

he even kept faithful to the old school colors..down to the faded looking blacks you see in old printed comics.

i suddenly think of Moebius and Toppi when I see this too!

aye bella, the colours are very classic french comics heh.

Andrew, i just finished drifting life and i really appreciate how modern comics like this page apply cinematic design to comic books heh.

It's not just this piece of art that stands out particularly but it's really interesting how a single comic page is really beautiful and is a "pin-up" illustration in its own way. brr.. just having a moment lol
