Went to get a new sketchbook of thicker, smoother paper to deal with my sketchbook envy after seeing Flee's sketchbook...hee hee :) Just experimenting here -acrylic inks for the man, poster colours for the woman. Reference drawn from magazine photos.

If you bought a Moleskine, (which i assume), the natural media will take a lot to get use to especially with that kind of paper. But I can see you are trying new things already! Like your new sketches, and was really impressed by your old sketchbooks too!
