hey its good. tho some are a bit too photoshop obvious. Would be good to make the colours and textures more natural but still using photoshop. shld put it in a book using www.blurb.com
By "more natural", do u mean more varied, Andrew? Cuz if u mean some of the textures are too evenly chaotic, i see what u mean... wonder how to achieve that varied texture look hmm..
But it looks awesome! very high fashion classic. Someone call Vogue please, they wanna hire Kuanth :D
By " photoshop obvious" I thk Drew is referring to how Kuanth "push" the colours esp.- Look at the blonde girl- the way the red is layered on top of the yellow?? Its very obvious there- way too much contrast in Levels.
I see what u mean Mike. I didn't realize cuz i felt it looks "naturally incorrect" lol. The high contrast gives it that slight "misprint feel" like when printing methods 10-20 years back weren't perfected yet and print colours were sometimes oversaturated heh. It really gives it that 70s high fashion Vogue look!
kuanth-pls dnt feel that we nitpick ok?! :) These peices are nice and the technique and discussion here is good. thumbs up! Please post more- you have always gave good comments on other artists' work too- we need more OIC artist to be like that. Not just posting for their own glory but also looking out for fellow artists' work and showing genuine interest.

Cool! :)
nice retro effect. How did u get the yellow streaks?
Was it anothr texture layer?
Nice! I esp like one of the blond girl. Strokes and colours look accidental, but it works wonderfully.
Very confident and bold strokes!

This is my hot fav- has a certain "Jap beauty look" to it. Niceee! Would be good to use it for an OIC Portrait Day poster

hey guys
thanks for the comments. actually i did the effects on purpose, as i don't want it to look "natural".
yes Mike you are right, I overlay another layer of texture to achieve that.:)
anyway, all these 3 are done within 30 mins. it's just a spontaneous thingy lah~

interesting topic. its a matter of preference i guess. It looks good either way. the first one is especially nice coz of the varied strokes.
