Sketch from photographs





Took a bunch of photos when we were traveling since I did not have the luxury of time to spend the whole afternoon siting on a sweet spot. I think most artists would do a very quick composition study, take a pix and then headed home to complete the painting. This was what I did here, a watercolor study from a picture I took.

awesome. there are very nice to look at. The blues in the trees (which you have done) are better this way than if you just use dark green. The colours are nice.

i feel that if you use added tinges of other colours into your flat colours it might make it more interesting. eg. the sky cld have more colours than plain blue.

High voltage wire speaks to me the most. Something about the negative space and the wash effect o_o
