Updated~ poster for my booth!
old poster
Corrected it according to the helpful crits of you guys, looks better now! :D Thanks.
This is the version I sent out to print. 50 x 70 cm print, on Bromide. pretty sweet surface and print and we get to keep it after the grad show, so I intended to make the poster very much personalised yet descriptive of what I do.

San Diego & La Jolla Cove
Took a trip down south to San Diego during the Valentine's Day weekend for a short getaway. It was a cloudy day with gusty wind but nothing beats the magnificent view of the cove. Besides a romantic weekend, I wouldn't miss a chance to sketch.

Harrowing ride into completion (juggling assignments and whatnots).. but it was all worth it and totally fun :D

A piece I revisited while trying out the intuos 3 tablet I got recently. I used mainly the brush tip for the hair.

Life Drawing session - Poison Ivy Themed
Clik on thumbs to see larger image. 10-15mins poses. All sketches done within the session.
I think I missed life drawing a lot. I have been contemplating to attend one but I was held back because I have to pay for the session, unlike when I was in SCAD, the life drawing sessions are free. Even so, I didn't see students coming for it. Art students!! Unbelievable!!
Anyway it was a fun session as I got to know some artists during the break. They got so much passion for their art. There was this elderly man who was so friendly he came forward to welcome me and made me feel at home. Later I got to know that he has been painting and drawing for years. I learned so much by just looking at his sketches. I miss this place already. Then I got to know another who graduated from SCAD 2 years and is now a comic artist for TokyoPop and a couple of other publishers. Wow!! I was so glad I attended.

Texas Chain Saw
Was supposed to be a self portrait but didn't turn out that way. There is some resemblance though but not much :P. Anyway I timed myself in putting out this little exercise. Used Photoshop and completed the drawing in 30 mins exactly. :)
