Doodles on rough paper + photoshop. This was done using 'overlay' and 'multiply' in photoshop and also darkening the texture of the paper using 'levels'.
I don't know of any tutorials for this. But it would help to draw lots of humans and study drawings by ashley wood and charles reid. Photoshop is mainly choosing and applying flat colours.
