that's me and two of my friends actually. (fiona xie? which one/ haha I'll tell my friend) But I had to modify the girl on the right so she looks more local.
so you shot a picture of all 3 of you and then drew it out?
no, the poses and angles were sketched out first. Then later in the production I studied some pictures of each individual and drew in the faces in the angles and expressions I needed.
lol it's a little weird seeing u o the cover.. anyway, nice attention to details (textures, shopping bags etc) tho the lighting for the shophouses makes them look a little superimposed.
yeah had to brighten the shophouses because the feedback was that it was too dark even though I felt the darker tone helped bring out the lights of the shops. Now its a little too bright.
wah... hardcore! nice. i can never draw like that.
