Andrew, what does "complete WIP" mean?If it's work in progress, how can it be complete? Does this mean that essentially the complete first draft must be finished by Sept? Or can it be a combination of finished pages and detailed layouts to show how the story progresses?
more info:The story theme needs to be based around the idea of "cities". 5-13 pages. Full colour. Number of stories in vol.2 are limited to about 12. And only the best stories will be selected.Timeline:Initial short sypnosis pitch posted by July 30,2009Complete WIP should be uploaded by Sept 30, 2009Deadline for final submissions is December 30th , 2009.To pitch your stories or for more info, sign up at http://www.liquidcitizen.net/forum/
must the story be completed in the 5 - 13 pages? or is it supposed to be a cliffhanger?thanks for posting this up :)
hi allin response to qs:- stories need to be self-contained. - a 'complete WIP' means thats the WIP posted need to be readable - in terms of what text there is, and the layouts. ie: what you would present to an editor for approval before going into final art.hope that helps! :)
further note:- not everything has to be resolved in the story; but there needs to be a resolution of the main issues/themes etc raised in the story.
ah thks sonny, ignore the question i posted on the liquid city forum then :)
