"I saved the day."

tech question>>I scanned in the image at 1oo dpi , but not sure why the image is still so small when clicked on the thumbnail, hence the words looked so small. but when I see it in photoshop at 100%, it looked alright. Anybody knows why? What's the best practice?.tks

hehe. i love the part about matchsticks!!!!

maybe 200 dpi would be good? if you're worried about file size, i think can save at lower res, since it's black and white.

Hmmmm..... maybe you can try this-
keep the res at 100dpi or 150dpi but make sure the size percentage as bigger ( like 150% )
as a further check- the pixel witdth dimension should be bigger than 588 pixels.

Hope tht helps. :)
Thanks for respecting the elders and making images/ text/ handwriting bigger! :)

ok, heres what happened at my blog.
because i posted a mural illustration, the size was about 27cm (width) and 80 dpi using"Save For Web" function on Photoshop CS2. I uploaded my pix via Blogspot. After uploading i will double check if i clicked on the images it will naturally open top the just image alone and at the saved intended jpeg size.
But lately i'm having problem uploading thru Blogspot if my image is a little larger.

Here how i solved my side of the problem. If you got a FTP site that can link your image to,link your image from there thru URL instead of using the "Blogspot Upload" function. Try if it works?
Good luck!

nice. i can feel the evilness in your expressions. i'm not sure if "saving the day" is the right expression for this story. What is he saving it from?

Hi ,tks all for the tech info.It helps when i post some longish thing thing again.

>>>Mike.I got this idea because I really came across a croackroach in the toilet and trying to kill it.but with detergent,

Seiji- I know wht u mean by save the dy :D.

I stay with 3 ladies so I know- but since its my own home- we dont "employ flames or match sticks"- to impress the ladies its with my bare hands or a quick whack with rolled up newspaper.

Must tune myself to b more aware all all the incidental stuff. Keep it comin!

Mike>>you are "fortunate" to be staying with 3 ladies. I am sure there is a unique wealth of experiences and inspiration that only you can express. Eg...maybe a comic on how desperate u have to hide your playboy magazine from them?;)

i actually love the title heh. It's almost sarcastic "saved" actually means killed with an evil tone in it heh. And killing with fire, that's overkill! lol

nice work heh
