OIC Figure Drawing 9 June 2009

Yesterday was not only my first OIC figure drawing session, it was my first figure drawing session ever. So I was totally unprepared for the break neck speed of the 1 min to 3 min warm-up poses. I think I'll spare everyone the "exercise in futility" of the initial incomplete lines and cut straight to the more relaxing 5 min to 10 min poses heh... Thanks again to organisers and participants alike! Saw some really cool renderings yesterday, hope to see the rest of the group post them up! :)

Bro, you are a natural. Good observation especially the tones. What are the sizes for these pieces? :-)

Thanks Andy :) They are each A4 size. The last one is A5. I just try to draw what i can see la heh. I may need to get my eyes checked cuz i think some of those muscles are figments of my imagination...

..What does it take to get u to post ur drawings, Lee? U want me to stand on food court table and wave giant OIC flag issit? lol

Thanks for the comments guys :)

sexy... and to know you used the model as solely a reference point makes me wanna whip out my bridgeman and grays anatomy and dig back into muscle practice! INSPIRING! please draw more.

If this was your first figure drawing session ever, then you are a prodigy. The human form is the most difficult combination of shapes to render, but you've made it look effortless. Bravo!

Dear Zero;

Waving a OIC flag at a Kopitiam Outlet (on top of a table) during lunch hour will be most appropriate, THANKS! After that THEN we'll talk bout posting my work.
